Psalms – Part 4
Paul van Coller (Senior Pastor, Hope Family)
Paul preached from Psalm 139 and reminded us that we are fearfully and wonderfully made. God knew us even before we were born.
1️⃣ What stood out to you most from Sunday’s message?
We are not accidents or mass-produced. We are God’s handiwork, created with intention and purpose.
2️⃣ How does knowing that God intentionally made you and knows you change the way you see yourself?
Deuteronomy 30 says, “Choose life.” God has good plans for our lives, but we need to choose to follow Him to step into those plans.
3️⃣ Are you waiting for God to change a situation in your life? What choice can you make while you wait to follow God and His ways?
Our choices don’t only affect us; they can also affect the people around us.
4️⃣ Can you think of a time when someone else’s choices affected you, either positively or negatively? What did you learn from it?
Romans 8 reminds us that creation is “groaning” as we wait for the day when everything will be restored. But our pain is not meaningless, and Jesus understands our suffering.
5️⃣ Have you experienced God bringing good out of a difficult or painful season? What happened?
While we wait for complete restoration in heaven, God allows us to experience glimpses of His goodness and restoration here on earth.
6️⃣ Where can you see God bringing good, hope or restoration into your life right now?
